The Palestinian Ministry of Health's annual mortality report found that 17,286 of the 24,650 deaths registered in Gaza in 2025, 70.1 percent, resulted from the direct targeting of civilians. Among children and teenagers aged 5 to 19, war operations caused 95.8 percent of deaths.
